Mama, I’m Coming Home

That’s right, it’s Amazon, boys and girls. Big Mama Amazon has opened her doors to all the little orphan podcasts out there, giving them shelter, giving them comfort, and giving them a place to shine in the sun. Giving them a place to be heard.

Amazon Music just thrust itself into the podcast game, and Review Party Dot Com is set to ride the waves and ripples.

Take note, this isn’t an ad or anything. We’d use much more artistic words if it were. And we’d be dancing. You’d be able to tell through the text that we were dancing, because Mama Amazon was paying us to say nice things about her.

Well that’s not the case. We’re just good boys who don’t need payment to say nice things about our mothers. And we’re also plain and simple excited to see our show on another platform, one that gives so many more people easy access to us. And it doesn’t hurt that Amazon reviews are the fire that keep our funnies going.

Now we all love some good quality, parental validation. A pat on the back, a ruffle of the hair, evidence of unwavering support. And from Amazon, what we’ve got is what you see: our show on Amazon Music, and this beautiful Like on Twitter which will live on forever more.

Amazon Music “Likes” that this humble comedy podcast is under its wing. Amazon approves. Don’t be surprised if we print this out and get it framed. The mamalith noticed us.

But really, who we care about most is you, listener, and you too reader. This show is fun for us and we aim to make it fun for you. Amazon does have a sense of humor, they have blog posts of their own featuring some of the funniest reviews ever. But Mamazon is a busy parent, and may not always have time to laugh at every single little miraculous thing we do. And that’s why we’re glad we have each other, we’re glad we have you. And we’re glad we have one more superpowered way to share our voices and our silly thoughts.

After all, so many of us (obviously) use Amazon for our shopping, so it makes sense they’d want it to be even more of a one-stop internet shop. And hey, you don’t need to be a Prime member to listen in. Amazon Music has plenty of free offerings, and sweet, beautiful podcasts like ours are free all over the internet, so you really can’t get a better deal than that. Even at Amazon.

Hard for it to be an ad when the product is free, eh? Trust us, you’d know.

PS: for those of you with your own podcasts, you can submit them to be added to Amazon Music too, whether through your host or directly through Amazon. But this is totally not an ad, and just to prove it we won’t be helpful with a link or anything like that. We’re just like, sharing information, okay?
