Compensated Reviews: Coupon Codes from Threadless, Alpine Provisions, and The Earthling Co.

Welcome back to another installment of Compensated Reviews, the feature where we tell you how to make your reviews work hard for you.

It should go without saying - since we’re talking about rewarding reviews - but to get a keen reward, you do need to make a purchase, and today we’re focusing on purchases from three sites we can highly recommend: Threadless, Alpine Provisions, and The Earthling Co.

Let’s just jump right in, shall we?

Alpine Provisions

Who are they? A company that offers sustainable products in sustainable packaging, as a way to combat the waste so prevalent in the beauty and health industry these days. Soaps, shampoos, conditioners, bamboo toothbrushes and toothpaste tablets. The liquids in aluminum bottles, infinitely recyclable.

Once you make a purchase, wait for their email and leave your review. Once you do so, that’s $10 off your next order. If you like what you bought, why wouldn’t you leave a review, and why wouldn’t you want money off the next purchase?

The Earthling Co.

Similar to Alpine Provisions, The Earthling Co. is aimed at providing beauty/health products in a sustainable way, but rather than rely on liquid soaps, they instead sell shampoo and conditioner bars (that way you’re not paying for or paying to ship water, in your liquid soap). Everything else is about the same, though scents surely differ.

And just as similar, yet different, a review on The Earthling Co. will net you 10% off your next purchase, OR a full 15% if you include a photo or video. Little effort for more discount? Why not!

Threadless

Based in Chicago, this company sells shirts, mugs, pillows and so much more, all featuring the art of independent artists. It’s cool stuff and it helps cool people. There’s not much more to say.

Other than if you leave a review, they’ll give you a solid 25% off your next purchase. That’s almost worth splitting a purchase up, just to use the discount on more items.

Now, this is a bit of a slim post, we’ll admit. And you may think it’s a low promotion. We only wish that were the case. No, we’re only doing this in the same spirit that most people write reviews: to help out those who follow behind us. If you want to save, these are the ways to do it. Happy spending and happy reviewing, folks!
