Great Reviews in History: The Invisible Man (1933)

The 1930s, the pre-code era, the birth of the movie monster universe. Movies were still a new medium and movie reviews were younger yet.

And that’s what makes reading these old reviews so much fun! It’s like seeing the early days of the internet, where rubes barely knew what they were doing, but y’know, obviously these are way older.

In the past we’ve looked back through time at Frankenstein and Nosferatu, but now we turn our sights (so to speak) to The Invisible Man.
